Watershed - FBC Conroe

What's up Conroe?!  I'm Alan Armstrong,  and I'm not the "new guy!"  any more.  In case we haven't talked yet, I'm fired up to be at FBC Conroe and leading Watershed!  When I was 8, I had a life-changing encounter with Jesus.  He's my Savior and my Lord.

When I was a junior in HS, God called me to the ministry and began giving me a passion for student ministry.  I love everything about what I do, from seeing you around town, at your schools, speaking to you, and working with adult leaders and parents who love students just like I do!

I'm VERY happily married to Candice and have been so since October 6th, 2007 when we tied the knot.  We are expecting our first little on this September and are super-pumped to be parents!!

We love the Dallas Cowboys, fajitas, and the ABC show "Castle"!!  I'm a graduate of Baylor University (Sic'em Bears!) and have a masters from Dallas Baptist University.  Candice is a graduate of DBU as well and also has a masters from there.  My favorite movie is Gladiator, my favorite book is Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis and my favorite Bible passage is Ephesians 2:8-9.

It's been an awesome first year at FBC Conroe and with Watershed! I can't wait to see what God has in store for year 2!!

Hey there! I'm Nathan Brown...or nate...or N8...whatever. Music is what I'm all about. I like to play me some guitar, but I LOVE to play me some drums.

I've been leading youth worship for somewhere around three or four years now and it's so much fun. I love to be able to help kids worship, but more than that I love to see kids worship and grow closer to God. I used to lead the high school worship at a church in Kingwood, TX but God moved me and my brother out to Conroe in 07. Didn't really know why at the time, but getting the opportunity to lead worship for the youth here at FBC Conroe was an answer to prayer BIG TIME!

Come out and worship with us, get to know us and experience the awkward sense of humor my brother Jaymes and I have; it'll grow on you!

Hello. My name is Jaymes Brown...like it says right above this.
My brother and I moved to Conroe in Fall 2007. I previously worked in Kingwood, TX at a church called Woodridge Baptist. I led the middle school worship and directed and edited video for the youth. My passion has always been to aid youth in worship and help them grow and enjoy praising our God. I thank God for this opportunity to work here at FBC Conroe. It has been a blessing so far and I know it will continue to be like..TOTALLY AWESOME...and stufffffff :)
